Moisturizing Beard Balms
- For short beards, use a pea-size amount scooped from beard balm tin. Use more for longer, fuller beards.
- Work through beard, chin and cheeks.
- Rub a bit on dry or split ends to add moisture and help strengthen hair as well.
PRODUCT NOTES:
- If your beard balm melts either in shipping or because it was left in a warm car or room, it is best to refrigerate for 1-2 hours BEFORE opening the tins to return them to a solid state.
- Your beard balm may become a bit grainy if it melts and resolidifies OR over a period of time.
- The quality and benefits of the ingredients are not affected!
- Those small, often white lumps are just the Shea, Cocoa, or Mango Butter goodness standing out! The graininess is due to the various fatty acids in some high-quality butters melting, cooling, and solidifying at different temperatures.
THE FIX:
- Fast - Rub the granules in your hands to remelt and apply balm as you normally do.
- Slow - Place the tin on a baking sheet or other oven-safe dish and sit in a 190 to 200-degree oven until the balm is fully melted
- Using oven mitts, take the tin out of the oven and place on a small towel directly in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours until it is solid.
